Anushka Purohit

Anushka is a creative producer and visual storyteller based in India. She has produced national television campaigns, worked on Netflix originals and directed ad films while simultaneously developing one of the most distinctive eyes in Indian spatial and heritage photography. She moves between both worlds with the same fluency because to her they are the same world: everything is story, everything is light, everything is the moment you almost missed.

She grew up watching her father work. The Microsoft XP turning on, Photoshop glow at night, watching him bring prints and CD covers to label before sending them out. He never taught her photography. He just let her watch.

Her father calls her his Shyam Benegal. She’s still figuring out if that’s a compliment or a warning.

Manish Purohit

Some photographers capture spaces. Manish captures the feeling of stepping into one.

With over 25 years behind the lens, his work has found its way into the pages of CNN Travel, Condé Nast Traveller, The Times, The Sunday Times, The Guardian, Auto India, and the coveted Relais & Châteaux collection publications and platforms that don’t feature work lightly. It is a body of recognition built not through pitching, but through images that editors couldn’t ignore.

He has spent his career working with the finest properties across India from heritage havelis in Rajasthan to clifftop resorts in Goa documenting not just rooms, but the full arc of experience. The grand entrance. The quiet corner of a courtyard. The meal that lingers in memory long after checkout.

His eye is spatial, his instinct is human, and he understands that a great photograph doesn’t just show a place it makes you feel like you’ve already been there. He has watched photography evolve from film rolls to RAW files, from printed brochures to Instagram grids. Through every shift, one belief has held constant that light, patience, and perspective are what separate a photograph from a picture.
